Lucy has left her corporate career after 21 years to pursue life as a full time artist. She is mainly self taught and enjoys exploring abstract, impressionist, and expressionist art. Her work is continuously evolving and prefers a simplified style to express her vision and thoughts to convey emotions. Her work is applied in layers to achieve depth, some seem so old world, with rich textured backgrounds and over-painting, while others are graphic and rhythmic She is inspired by travel, life and surroundings. She has a passion for art, gardening, decorating, and cooking. Her work is embraced by many and is currently held in both private and corporate collections across North America and Europe. Lucy lives and paints in Toronto, Ontario (Canada) with her husband and children.
